The term applicant tracking usually refers to software tools for managing applications. But do tools today not need to do much more than just manage applications? Larger companies generally use extensive and complex recruiting solutions that offer targeted evaluation and analysis for future optimisation.

CV parsing

That one would like to make the handling of applicant data as easy as possible is absolutely understandable. The idea of CV parsing sounds very tempting. But the problem is there is NO solution available on the market you can actually rely on. The best ones have hit rates of 90 to 98 percent. But what good are even 99 percent if you can't rely on it and an applicant suddenly gets a doctorate?

Analyses and optimisations with the applicant tracking solution

Studies on the simulated reading behaviour of applicants looking for a new career are becoming increasingly popular. In most cases no more than 200 - 300 participants put on glasses, which record the pupil movements in reaction to examined material (mostly job advertisements) and use them in an applicant software (eye tracking).
